LISTADO DE LICOPODIOS Y HELECHOS DEL MUNICIPIO DE ZACUALTIPÁN DE ÁNGELES, HIDALGO, MÉXICO
Abstract
The Hidalgo State has a wide variety of
physiographic and climatic conditions that
promote the presence of a rich flora, but it is
far from being well known. The aim of this
study is contribute to the floristic knowledge
of the state, through an inventory of lycophytes and ferns species in the “Zacualtipán
de Ángeles” municipality. The collection of
the specimens was conducted mainly in the
cloud forest and secondarily in the oak and
pine-oak forest. 21 families, 51 genera, and
125 species were identified; four of them are
new records for the state of Hidalgo, and
six species are federally protected in the
Norma Oficial Mexicana NOM-059-ECOLSEMARNAT-2010. These results placed
the municipality as the one with the highest
lycophytes and ferns species number of in
the Hidalgo State.
