Abstract

With nearly 164000 specimens, the W. P.
Fraser Herbarium (SASK) ranks among the
top 15 major herbaria in Canada. SASK is
involved in the development of botanical
collections, floristic inventories, taxonomic,
systematic and biodiversity studies in
Saskatchewan and specializes primarily
in the province’s native flora. In this paper
an annotated list of the type specimens,
scientific names, taxonomic authorities,
protologue citations and collection data is
provided. Digital images of the type
