INVENTARIO FLORÍSTICO DEL MUNICIPIO DE AMACUZAC, MORELOS, MÉXICO

Abstract

The Amacuzac municipality is localized in the
southwest extreme of state of Morelos, between
the parallels 18º35’22” north latitude and
99º22’10” west longitude, in Sierra Madre del
Sur Fisiographic Province. In this area it
predominates the caducifolius tropical forest,
besides oats forest and gallery forest, also a
little region with palmar. It is presented the
floristic inventory of Amacuzac municipality,
Morelos. Acording with this list, there are
recorded 491 species of vascular plants between
pteridophytes, gymnosperms and angiosperms.
The family more represented is Leguminosae
with 58 species, which is almost the 12% of the
flora of this municipality, continued by
Compositae family (37 species, 7.7%) and
Gramineae familiy (36 species, 7.5%).
