LA FAMILIA HYMENOCHAETACEAE EN MÉXICO I. EL GÉNERO HYDNOCHAETE BRES.

Abstract

Three species of the genus Hydnochaete of 50
specimens proceeding from 13 states of the Mexican
Republic are described. The materials of the Mexican
Herbaria ENCB, FCME, IBUG and XAL and U.S.A.
Herbaria TUL, W.B. COOKE and P.O. SCHALLERT
were revised. The species studied are Hydnochaete olivacea
(Schw.: Fr.) Banker, H. resupinata (Sw.) Ryv. and H.
tabacina (Berk. et Curt.) Ryv. The last species is a new
record for Mexico.
